Name:Eric Gonzaga JD, CECP

Title: National Managing Principal, Compensation Consulting

Bio: Eric is an attorney by training, and has specialized in governance, benchmarking, and design of executive, sales, and broad-based compensation plans for 20 years.  Currently, Eric serves as the national practice leader for compensation consulting, and as the Central Region leader for the overall Human Capital practice at Grant Thornton, which also includes, benefits, actuarial, global mobility, and payroll practices. Eric's primary focus is on advising boards and executive teams on design of pay plans that optimize recruitment, retention, and motivation of the work force. 

 

Name: Vivek A. Natarajan, FSA, MAAA

Organization:

Title:Director, Health & Benefits Consulting 

Bio: Vivek is an actuary by training though Vivek's primary role and focus is in guiding clients through the development and maintenance of their long-term benefits strategy. This includes everything from aligning benefit design with benchmarks or with business priorities to establishing the infrastructure for a robust well-being and incentive program.

 

Name: Andre Rooks

Organization: Mercer

Title:Principal

Bio: Andre Rooks is a Principal at Mercer where he is responsible for developing strategies that improve the outcomes from base pay, incentive pay and other compensation programs. Andre also provides expertise on topics such as Executive and Board of Director compensation, Incentive plan design for salaried and hourly employees,  and wage and salary structure development and implementation.

 

Andre has worked with organizations such as General Mills, The Boeing Company, Lands End, MYR Group, Wright Medical Group NV, Meta Financial Group, Dairy Queen and Ameritas. Andre has published white papers, participated in webinars and presented to industry groups such as the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals, Financial Executives International, AAIM Employers' Association, Twin Cities Compensation Network and the Design Finance Officers group. Andre has also been a guest speaker at Loyola University Chicago and DePaul University. Prior to joining Mercer, Andre was a senior consultant at Aon Hewitt. 

 

Andre earned a Bachelors of Science in Economics from the University of Illinois and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. 

   

This program is pending approval for 1 credit hour towards PHR/SPHR recertification through the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) as well as 1 professional development credit (PDC's) toward SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP certification.
