How people communicate within an organization can impact connection to purpose, engagement and overall performance effectiveness. This session will focus on the nature of communication in the workplace and HR’s role in shaping the narrative—specifically, how HR can contribute to creating a strong people brand. The moderator will lead the session with a presentation that sets context to how authentic messaging sources and topics facilitate trust within an organization. The panelists will then share case studies on how their HR teams influenced an employee value proposition and established their people brands within their organizations. You won’t want to miss this compelling and informative discussion! HR practitioners will leave with actionable insights on how to collaborate with their communication partners to shape a better employee experience.



Alissa Schepisi—Senior VP, Employee Experience at Edelman

Alissa’s equal parts vivid storyteller, adept relationship builder, skilled listener, sharp strategist, diligent tactician and energetic problem-solver and more than 15 years of rich, varied experience enables her to implement successful communications programs that drive strategic alignment, employee engagement and improved business results. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, has enjoyed a progressive career in Communications and is currently the Sr. Vice President, Employee Experience at Edelman.


Andrea Goodkin—Executive VP of HR Consulting at HUB Group

Andrea leads the consulting services and strategic management of HUB’s Human Resource Consulting Services practice. With a specialized talent for building and developing high performing human capital programs, systems and teams, Andrea applies her extensive experience to help clients build and implement cost-effective and cutting-edge workforce strategies and solutions. Andrea holds a Bachelor degree in Psychology (Industrial/Organizational emphasis), a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification, and is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRMSCP).

Stacy Kuehler—SVP, Director of Communications at HUB Group

As Sr. Vice President and National Director, Stacy oversees a group of creative professionals for HUB’s Communication & Design team that supports clients by creating engaging, Fortune 500-level communications that make employees stand up and take notice. Her experience in the communication and design industry has focused on results-driven strategy and the development of award-winning HR and Benefits employee engagement and communication campaigns.

Jennifer Marszelak—Chief Talent Officer at Havas

Jennifer is a strategic Human Resource business partner with broad, progressive generalist experience in entrepreneurial and tech environments.
